Love 2 ovens

I bought this 3 weeks ago, it is a replacement for a Maytag Gemini double oven range that was 12 years old. First of all I will never go back to a single oven. I cook a lot and the quick heat up of the small oven is very helpful. The only features that this lacks is it only has one timer and the oven light feature turns on both oven lights instead of having one for each oven.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This range cooks extremely well and I love the confection oven. The only drawback is that the cooktop easily stained even when water drops on it and it is hard to clean.

Convection not any quicker at cooking.

The convection option does not speed up cooking/baking time as described. After following instruction manual, a 3lb roast still took 3 hours at 350. The stove top's bigger/smaller burner options are nice; although the surface doesn't clean up too great. The smaller top oven heats up very quickly, nice option; but it tends to cook similar to a toaster oven in that food cooks quicker and the top/bottom sometimes crisp up too fast; but with further use, I may be able to get the times/temp's of recipes adjusted to this. Appreciate the pleasant signal tones (almost a low bell) instead of the high pitch beeping of other kinds, great idea!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finally replaced the golden harvest colored stove with this double oven one and I do enjoy it a lot. Only wish the top was easier to clean

This is the 3rd double oven that I've owned but the first GE. It is so handy to be able to use the small oven as there are just 2 of us and to have the flexibility of two ovens that can b set at different temps. Love the varying-size burners and you can boil liquids very quickly. It is simple to master the controls for each oven. Love it and highly recommend it!
