After 25 years my old stove finally died. After reviewing ranges on line I chose the GE stove

Love having the double oven.

We love the double oven. We were able to eliminate the countertop toaster oven and open up some of our limited counter space. Have not yet used the convection large oven yet but I expect it to perform well. The 2 large front burners work well and give even heat to my 14" square griddle pan. On my previous stove only the middle would get hot causing me to have to move stuff around to get everything done the same amount. The power boil front burner is really fast to boil a pot of water, large or small.
The only complaint is that you have to bend over considerably to access the lower oven, but that can't be helped and the double oven far outweighs that complaint. Most things are cooked in the smaller oven anyway, and I feel that it probably uses less energy to cook than heating the large volume of the lower oven.
Overall I am highly satisfied with this purchase. Since I don't have room to install wall ovens, this meets my needs very well.
This was a replacement for a 20+ yr old slide-in GE range (single oven) which was not available in white (only black or stainless). We also wanted front mounted controls (not front top). Since we had to purchase an upright range to get white, we opted for the double oven. Had it been available in slide in white with the double oven that would have been our pick.

Great buy

Just installed so cant review on cooking just yet but for features love the large upper oven which fits 2cassere dishes, compared to my older double over which only fit one. 2 large burners in front is ideal too! I like the gry tones on top and sides, wish they did that for all the glass top and back so no black but oh well.

When our old stove from the early 90s finally gave up the ghost, we looked at a lot of Ranges, and this GE Double oven seemed great. While it is modern looking, it does not overwhelm our old fashioned kitchen. Can't believe I lived so long with only one oven.

We've used it such a short time, it's difficult to give good information. But so far the stove has functioned pretty well with some difficulty with the upper oven overcooking some things.

What an upgrade!

This oven is great! We really debated about a full double oven, but are so glad we went with one. We cook all of our meals and so it gets a workout. Having the flexibility to cook multiple dishes is wonderful. We use the small oven to toast and got rid of our bulky convection oven toaster. This works pretty well and is adequate as only our children eat bread. I use the top oven to made beef jerky. Haven't made this work in the bottom oven as well. I have given up keeping the stove top sparkling clean as it takes a lot of "elbow grease", but recommended cleaners work fine. The only drawback of this model is the "crevices" around the edge of the stove top catch every little crumb and bits of cleaner. Having a flush stove top all around would be better.
