Remodeled our kitchen. New appliances included. LOVE this stove. Easy to use, does it all and easy to clean. The double ovens are perfect for many dishes.

Love the varied sizes of burners. The two oven feature is the best idea ever. The small oven with its quick preheat time and less energy use is most convenient. The bigger oven doesn't need to be used nearly as often. But when a large dinner is being prepared and numerous dishes need to be cooked/heated, it is perfect!!

pretty good, harder to clean

I love having a double oven. Although the cook-top is hard to keep clean. It always has spots or marks that need the special cleaner to remove. I wish I could just wipe clean or scrub clean with basic stuff. And the convection oven feature takes a very long time to heat up. Every time I use it I feel like it's always experimental in cooking things properly.
And the other big issue I have is a metal bump sticks out so far on the back of the oven, it has to sit like 1 1/2 inches from the back of the wall. So it sticks out so far and looks funny. Why is it there? I wish it could be pushed back to be more flush with the back splash.
The timer is too soft and quiet. I have to be right in the kitchen to hear it. Wish it could be a normal beeping like most timers.

Makes Cooking for a Crowd Easy1

I got this GE Double oven for Christmas and have been using it for 4 months. I have been very happy with many of its features. Both ovens heat quickly and cook well. The controls are easy to read and use. The elements are quite powerful and respond quickly when you change the setting. I cook a lot and for big groups and this has met the demands I put on it. The fan that runs when it is set on convection baking is ok but the food seems to take longer to cook so I haven't used it very much. Overall I am very happy with it. One light bulb did go out which seemed really soon but it was not hard or expensive to replace it. I worried about using a glass top and being able to keep it clean. The Cerama Bryte cleaner and scrubber included with the oven works well in getting hard to clean food off the glass.
I would recommend this to a friend!
