Good quality product. One issue - the lowest setting for the burners is still too high. It doesn't seem capable of a light heat. Even on low, a light sautee will bubble with heat. Other than that I am very happy with it. Easy to clean. Love having the small and large oven. The controls are easy to use. Looks good. Appears to be quality made. One of the things I liked about this stove top as compared to similar products was that all the six inch burners were of the same wattage...For other brands that would vary, so that a medium setting would have different heat depending on which six inch burner you were using. I liked the consistent wattage of the GE. However, those other ones did have lower wattage burners so that you could probably get a low simmer. Again, mostly very pleased with this product, but would suggest that the low burner setting (particularly in the front) is actually low. My experience is that the low setting is closer to what medium low should be.

Love the double oven!

This oven is easy to operate - I really like the double-oven feature. The cooktop is arranged well, with many size options for pans. However because of the plain dark glass it is difficult to keep clean (as compared to the cook top I had previously that had a black and gray "speckled" effect so it hid a lot of the drips/smears).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stove/oven looks great. Cleans easily.
One complaint. When power goes out the Clock display does not have battery back up. The clock has to be reset. Also the clock reset buttons are awkward to use.

Previous oven, similar model(not a GE), failed after 12 years. Bought online. Didn't test drive before purchase. Found out it has only 1 timer unlike previous model. Setting the oven and timer is not intuitively obvious. Took some getting use to. Has good sized dual burners that accommodate many pan dimensions. I forgot what it was like have a burner that got hot. Alarm tone(volume) hard to hear unless you are standing next to it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The glass cooktop is well balanced with two dual heating zones complimenting the warmer and two small heating zones. The power boiler is amazing and a great feature on ranges in this class. The best part of this oven is the top oven is larger than the competitors allowing more than just baking sheets. That extra bit of space keeps the casserole dish from being too close to the heating element. The second best option is the Convection oven option....it is just perfect for the price

Wonderful Range

I looked at a lot of ranges along with their reviews on line prior to deciding to purchase this range. This particular range had all of the features I was looking for: a small oven to use for small meals just for my husband and myself, a large oven when family came home, an extra large burner for when I'm canning, a large burner for my large skillet, and a warmer for my tea kettle. The only concerns I had after reading the reviews were the timer buzzer not being loud enough and the top scratching easily. Now that I have had a couple months to use my range I see I made an excellent choice. It is WONDERFUL and meets all my needs. As far as the top scratching easily: I too thought this was the case. I cleaned the top of the stove as I had cleaned my previous glass top but the scratches remained. What I discovered is this glass top cleans differently than my old stove. I need to use the abrasive pad with the cleaner each time scratches appear and sometimes need to use some "elbow grease" to remove them. Ta-da all scratches gone. The only reason I gave this product only 4 stars is because I do have to agree that the timer buzzer is not near loud enough. If I am in the kitchen not a problem, however, in any other room I can not hear it so I must carry a timer with me or go back to burned food. All in all I still Love this range.
