Nice range

This is a really nice range. It looks great in the kitchen and really doesn't show finger prints on the front. However, the cooktop is very hard to keep clean and shows every thing, even lint from towels. I also allowed my son to cook a pancake before purchasing new cookware (as recommended for smooth bottom pans). Even though he promised not to slide the skillet, he of course forgot and scratched the cooktop on the very first use. I thought I did a lot of research before purchasing but I didn't know that apparently the "GE black cooktop" has a reputation for being difficult to clean. If I had known how hard it was to maintain I would not have chosen the slate appliances. That is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Otherwise it works very well. Oh, and if the timer is set you can't see the clock, that's annoying.

My new GE stove is amazing! i love the warming zone option and the fact that it has two options for burner size on the front burners. The glass top is so easy to clean and take care of. The setting are easy to use and understand. I wish this one came with the option of opening both doors at once like some of the others but its awesome just the same. Quick to get to temperature and very fast at cooling off. The vents being under the the top of the range is new to me but after i figured out thats what it was and not that it was on fire is awesome!

We purchased this range to replace our 15 yr old., original, builder-grade range. We love it! The cook top surface unit size options fit all of our family's cooking needs, and the dual ovens mean that we can easily cook two different meals at the same time. As an avid baker, the dual ovens allow me to bake dozens cookies in half the time!

Just bought it a few days ago & decided I would break it in by baking. The oven preheated in less then 3 minutes l. It was fabulous. So far so good!

Love the double oven, the variable sizes on the cook top and the warming zone. This range has it ALL! Made waffles for a family brunch, the warming zone made it easy to serve everyone at the same time.
