I bought the stove about a month ago and I am very unhappy to see that the glass top has scratched. In order to protect the glass, I bought Bar keeper friend and cleaned the bottom of all my pots and pans to avoid the brunt on crud that accumulates on the bottom of the pans.
I had a different glass top stove for years and did not ever have a scratch on the glass. I am going to contact the company to find out what to do.

Love my double oven

The double oven is possibly the best feature I have even had. Great to cook a full meal while baking a dessert or rolls. The stove top is easy to maintain. Elements heat quickly.

The only thing I am having trouble getting used to is that the cooking elements get a lot hotter a lot quicker than on my old stove!
