My dad bought this for us for a house warming gift. We have had almost a week now and it is awesome! Great features, preheats fast, cooks great! Hands down the best appliance in the kitchen.

Short in Cooktop

Second time I used cooktop there was a flash, the smell of a fire, the breakers blew. The repairperson discovered a short and fixed it. I have used it once since then. It is in a vacation home so only used on weekends. The limited time I have had to use it. I like it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Double oven is wonderful just for the two of us. Like the features such as the minute warning when the food is to be done. Cook top is somewhat difficult to keep clean.

Good stove for a lifetime of cooking

All features of new stove are being used as they help make food preparation easier; especially warming features allowing for sourdough and yogurt and vegetable fermentation. Efficient, fast, easy to clean. I fervently wish there's no "planned obsolescence" and that this stove lasts. Consumers are worthy of decent manufactured household helper machines.

I love the upper oven but when I use the cooking surface, the trim around the glass gets very hot when cooking anything. You can burn yourself if you are not mindful and I do not like the knobs on the back of the unit.

Quick-heating baking for breads, pies, cakes.

This double-oven range replaces a very similar one which I had purchased several years ago as a used one. My family enjoys quick breads, i.e. biscuits and cornbread with meals and the upper oven is just right for fast prep. Also, when glasstop range surface is clear it serves much like counter space.
I would recommend this to a friend!
