Oven is not accurate off by as much as 25 degrees

Stove was delivered 01/11/2016 - three weeks later the top oven light went out and replacing the bulb did not fix it. Had a board replaced (under warranty) Primary reason for choosing GE is not listed....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the double oven!

I love the double oven, but the stove cooks way too hot. If I turn a soup I am cooking down to the "LO" setting, it continues to boil! The timer is so polite and somewhat hard to hear. There are so many beeps and buzzes on our appliances now. Knowing when my dishwasher turns off is really not important to me, but I do like to be warned loudly when the muffins in the oven are about to burn.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Range works great, oven not so much

This replaced a older GE range (about 1996) which was having trouble. We love the idea of a double oven but have had trouble because the oven temperature seems too low. It takes longer to cook some things than the instructions indicate. I will recommend it if we can get the oven temperature right.

I have been using this oven for 4 months now, and it is fabulous and so easy to use! Although I haven't had the need to use the lower convection oven yet, the upper smaller oven heats up quickly, cooks efficiently, and saves electricity. The 5 burner stove top (1 warmer burner, and two burners with flexible burner sizes) fit a variety of my cooking pans perfectly. Clean up is easy, and the additional flat space on the burner areas, when not in use of course, is helpful when preparing several things at once. Timer is easy to set and use. My only very minor complaint is the clock was a pain to reset, but figured it out, and the oven light button turns the lights on on both ovens only, no individual settings, very minor issues. I love the flexibility of two ovens, and have yet to explore all the capabilities!
