Great Stove Top, Ovens???

We purchased this unit, the GE JGB860SEJ4SS, in Match of 2017. Overall, while we are happy with the looks of the Range, but, overall we would not recommend.
For the Stove Top, when we first received the unit, we were very happy with it. The Burner are High Output and bring water to a boil quickly. The levels are easy to adjust to get just the right temperature. We were especially excited about the Center Burner and purchased the Optional Griddle. We didn't use the Griddle a ton, but we were happy with it.
After not using it for several weeks, we tried to use it again, and the flame was so low, that even after 15 minutes at full heat, it wasn't hot enough to get a drop of water to even sizzle. And turned all the way down, the burner wouldn't even stay lite.
I removed the orifice from the center burner and noticed that I couldn't even see through the hole. I grabbed a toothpick and cleaned out the hole and pulled a bunch of black flakes out of the interior of the orifice. After cleaning, I was able to see though the hole and I replace the orifice. After replacing, the burner level was much higher, similar to what it was when we first received the stove.
Once the I finished the repair, we've been very happy with the cooktop. With the Center griddle, we are getting the temperatures we'd expect, with out having to turn the burner on full.
Now, to the ovens. The double ovens was one of the main reasons the we picked this range over the several other that we were looking at. But, in hind site, the Ovens - both of them - have been the biggest disappointment.
When we first had the stove installed, we were having issue with cooking times, some things over done, others under done, when compared to our old oven. We we also having issues with things cooking un-evenly. For example, something simple like a frozen pizza, the front of the pizza was barely brown and the back of the pizza was almost burnt.
We spent sometime making adjustment to the temperature, which was extremely easy to do in the control panel, and eventually got the cooking time closer to what we expected, and to the instruction on the recipes. But we were still having issues with things in the back of the oven cooking quicker then things in the front of the oven. And we are seeing this on both the top and bottom ovens.
After several months of "experimenting" with the ovens calibration and cooking times, we even tried letting the over preheat for another 10 to 20 minutes after the Control panel says that the oven has reached temperature, to let the ovens stabilize and even out through the entire oven. We also purchased a mercury thermometer to check the temperature rather the the coil one that we already had, and proceeded to spend the rest of the day recalibrating the temperature. Letting the oven preheat for almost a half hour each time. Again, easy to make any needed adjustments by going in the the service menu.
After making all of the adjustments, our cooking times are about what we'd expect, but, still having issues with things towards the back of the oven during, while things in the front are barely browning.
So, at this point our solution is to rotate anything that we're putting in the oven and rotate it half way through it's cooking time. That seems to help a little bit, but, we still have issues. Not Looking forward to the coming holidays and all the cooking that we'll be doing and having to fight with the temperatures of both of these ovens.
We have yet to even try the Convection Bake or Roast, since that's a new feature for us and we feel like if we can't even get the regular ovens to work correctly, we don't even want to try doing something we are unfamiliar with and screw up our dinners even more.
Bottom line, while we love the Cooktop, we could not recommend this stove for purchase, due to the issues with both ovens.

We bought this oven 2 weeks ago. It worked great the ONE time we used it. The 2nd time, we couldn't use the top and bottom ovens at the same time. The 3rd, both ovens stopped heating completely. We called GE, but they refused to help until we find the serial number stamped on it....oh... and there's no serial number ANYWHERE.

Nothing but trouble

I upgraded to this oven, as well as other GE products (microwave and refrigerator) when purchasing my house 2 years ago. I never thought I would have to replace my microwave after 2 years, which I did with a KitchenAid microwave, and now this oven is not working correctly. For a few months now, the top oven has not held the correct temperature (so I haven't used it in a while) and this morning, the bottom oven won't heat up. I followed trouble shooting procedures, reset the shut off valve, but the oven still does not heat up. If I have to purchase a new stove, I will never buy another GE product and make sure all my friends and family know not to either. Other appliances I have had in the past have lasted more than 10 years without any trouble. I always thought GE had exceptional appliances, and was excited to have them in my new home. Now I am having to spend a lot more money than I planned to due to bad appliances.

Looks and feels amazing, but it’s a lemon

As a new home owner I had hope my GE appliances would hold up better. We picked GE because they were the only manu. who offered the slate finish. It looks good and is easy to clean. My issue is primarily with the third party service technicians that they hire. I had administrators cancel your and re-schedule new appointments without your knowledge. The technician was over to fix my range twice. They decided to stop coming by the 3rd visit. My top oven doesn’t work and it’s eliminating 1/3 of the cooking I can do.

GE has dissapointed me

We bought all new GE appliances 6 years ago when we moved in our new home. Dishwasher, french door refrigerator, microwave and double oven gas stove. All of them have failed just out of the 5 year warranty. What a surprise! Im trying to fix the top oven as it will not light and the temperature stays at 100 deg on the panel. I read that the hot surface ignitor is usually the cause of this so I bought and replaced it as well as the temperature probe. No luck I tested the high voltage going to the ignitor and it's not even getting power the panel and ovenlights light up so i know I have power coming from the wall outlest. So what else can be the problem? I am tempted to replace the main board control panel next.
My top stove and bottom oven still work fine. It's just the upper oven that will not work. Any ideas?

Not working properly from the get-go

Both ovens say they are ready (pre-heated) when they are 100 degrees lower than they should be. This in inexcusable for the cost of this oven.
