We Made the Right Choice!

We purchased all new kitchen appliances this past Christmas and after reviewing all of the major brands, GE ended up being our choice. Their addition to our mountain cabin added the look we were after.
This gas range is what we have wanted for quite some time and we are over the top crazy about it! It looks amazing, cleans up easily (the grates can go in the dishwasher), An additional feature is that the clock display can be turned off so that it and the microwave clock won't be on at the same time. That annoys me.
I love to cook and this range makes it so much more enjoyable.

OK, for all of you who have to have the absolute most expensive name brand appliance you can buy just stop reading here and go about your life. For those of you who like a great product at a reasonable price, this just might be for you. Nice looking appliance that does what it is supposed to do, i.e, cook food. Let's face it, you turn a burner on and place a pan over the burner and the food cooks. If you are a bad cook it doesn't matter how much you spend on a stove, your food is still going to be something the dog would refuse to eat. You need to eat out more if that is the case and post photos of the food you are buying at ridicules prices. Not to be outdone by those eating out, I've posted a couple of photos of the salmon that was cooked with this stove.

Great gas stove!

I bought this stove a month ago and really love it. Very sleek and cooks everything on the stove and in the oven quickly! Love that I can also buy a griddle pan to put in the center if desired.

My 1980 gas stove died and parts are no longer available, so I needed to replace it. I'm planning a future kitchen remodel so didn't want to buy a high end stove right now. This one is a great value for the price. I haven't tried the broil function yet but everything else works well. The bottom drawer is a bit flimsy and wobbly but isn't a big deal for me.

Lots of Burners

It does have lots of burners! Not impressed with the flimsy bottom drawer and we also have a problem with the gas connector in the back of the stove allowing it to stick out at least 3+ inches from the wall. Not good - will have to remedy this situation.
