This is my third GE oven in forty years. It is still as wonderful as any of my old ones. Would have given it five stars, however they took off my handle on the bottom drawer. I miss that a lot.

We bought the range in August but didn't install until the floor was in. we had thanks giving there. the range worked perfectly.

useful quality at a reasonable cost

I've only had this stove for one day and already appreciate the features. With 3 racks on the surface it's easier for me to clean. The oven is large and easy to operate. The surface burners are well spaced and easy to use. I wish the unit wasn't quite so tall as it interferes with my use of the counter top beside it. I also would like to see the clock as well as the oven temperature while I am cooking. I still have more to learn as I read the manual. So glad it's not a whole book, but a short, concise instruction sheet.

OK but definitely not great.

This range is pretty to look at but it's not as nice as the one I traded for. I can't use the largest burner for frying. It burns everything around the edge including me and hardly heats in the center. I know all gas ranges can do this but this one does it on the low setting. The grates are too high above the flame I think. It's mine now and I will adjust to it but I would not purchase it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My new Stove

So this is my first GE Stove and it has only been a day since we received it. Basically we are slowly getting use to the features. Our only challenge thus far is trying to figure out how to use the oven correctly and also the centre burner (the manual the stove came with could have had a little more details on the oven features and use for the not so tech savy individuals). We are yet to use the self clean but probably after all of our Christmas baking. Hoping to get the best out of our new stove
