The GE gas range was purchased to replace our 24 year old GE gas range, which served us very well. We hope for the same long lasing, high quality moving forward with our new acquisition.

Has all the features we wanted in a gas stove except missing a griddle. Love the summer burner and quick boil burner. Also very happy with the five burners and easy moveabilty of pots on the stove top.

Good stove but missing a few features from my old

Bought this stove as a replacement for a 15 year old stove. Love the appearance and color but it missing a few features that you don't realize in the showroom. For one my old stove had a separate temperature clock and when the stove door would open the oven light came on via a door switch. Let me explain, when you turn the oven on the clock displays the temperature and no time, when you use the timer function you cannot see the time clock or temperature clock. As for the oven light you have to manually turn light on/off to see inside. My old oven it was automatic when the door. Was opened. I also miss my split top oven rack for larger items such as a turkey or roast while having a partial top shelf. It had a removable piece to accommodate these items. Overall I am satisfied with the oven but cleaning the top can be a bit annoying with the three large burner racks. They have to be removed and placed on counter to properly clean the top. I guess this is the trade off for a full top grate. On the positive side it create a large flat surface for placing pots, pans and other such items when taking them out of the oven.

Other than great features, I also like the slate gray color which matches my GE dishwasher! I have only been using the range for a couple of days but so far I'm really enjoying cooking and being able to bake again. I'm loving my new range!!
