Was expecting better

I bought GE because I love their quality. Overall the range looks great. The burners are a little bit far from the grill so it takes a bit for the cooktop to get warm. But my main complaint is the oven. The thermostat is off and it doesn't follow any rhyme or reason, I have burned more food than I care to remember. I am finally contacting customer service for this, but it feels like this should not be happening with a new oven. I put a thermometer in the oven when it was set to 350 degrees and it was / 525.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the quiet oven ignition and quick pre-heat timing. The whole stove is well made and heavy with all features easy to use and looks great. Very satisfied.

Simple and Straightforward Range

Was time for a new range and this one fit the bill. Not as fancy as my old one but it cooks and bakes and that's all I really needed. I'm not crazy about the + and - to change the oven temp. That's one thing I miss about my old oven which had a number pad. Like the stovetop surface area...easy to move pans around and it fits a griddle easily! We just installed it so I cant really answer quality or performance questions.

Finger print resistant finish looks great and coordinates with our stainless appliances well. Range has great features and was very easy to install. Love that the burners can be taken apart for easy washing.

I love to cook on this stove!

The burners on this stove have pinpoint control and are just the right sizes for all my various cookware. The heating in the oven is consistent and the thermometer is dead-on accurate. The grates and burners are simple to remove, making cleanup a snap. The self-cleaning feature works exceptionally well Paso. All in all, this is a professional stove at an amateur price. I can't recommend this product strongly enough!
