great range but scratches easy

This is a great range. Not top of the line but everything I need in a range. I love everything about it and works great. However it scratches to easily. The back metal faceplate scratched after install from putting a piece of cardboard over it to install the range hood. Also where the grates sit if you don't get them right on the rubber rests they with scratch the metal paint.

Gas vs Electric

I had the electric version of this range and chose to convert to the natural gas version. I am pleased with both ranges. The gas version oven is awesome as all items are evenly baked. I highly recommend GE appliances.
