Nice Gas Range

I bought the dark gray color so I would not have to worry about keeping the stainless model shiny. The control panel is easy to use, if you want to bake just press the bake button. It will default to 350F, if you want to change the temperature just use the + - keys to adjust your temperature then press the start button. If you need to adjust the temperature later on during baking just press the cancel button, press bake, adjust the temperature and press start. If you raised the temperature "pre" will be shown in the window and when the oven gets to your desired temperature it will be displayed in the window and if you lowered it that temperature will be shown in the window. The broiler has a high and low setting. The stove top grates are heavy duty, sturdy and flat. It is very easy to move pots and pans from one burner to the next without having to pick them up. The oven door is firm and seals nicely with a woven fabric gasket. If you try to lock the door during baking or broiling a warning will be shown on the display telling you to unlock it, the door lock is to be used during oven cleaning only. After you install your oven, set the bake temperature to about 450F and let it run for 3 to 4 hours to burn off oils and coatings from the manufacturing processes and leave a window open or turn on your whole house fan. Having knobs for all of the functions would have been nice but this is the digital age. Happy Baking and Cooking.
