This is the best phone I've ever used. The display is surreal. It is very user friendly and simple to transfer anything to anything. Battery life is great and charges quickly. I love this phone.
I upgraded to this phone from a Galaxy Note3. It is a big step up from that phone. The overall usage time with the battery is longer than the Note3 even though it's a smaller battery. But a larger battery would have been a better option. I use my phone quite frequently when hiking and having the ability to swap the battery out with a fully charged spare would be ideal. Also a more durable body design would have been a nicer feature. I would have gladly sacrifice a little weight for a more durable case. The camera takes great photos and high quality videos. This is one instance where having the ability for removable storage would be great. On most hikes access to any mobile networks is very limited so cloud storage is not an option. Also streaming movies over mobile networks from the cloud can be expensive when unlimited data isn't available. Also music played from the device at a volume that is loud enough to be heard beyond your immediate personal space is very tinny and is not as loud as hoped. Speakerphone capability is very good. Most of these issues can be resolved by 3rd party options, but that adds to the total cost of the device and reduces the overall convenience of having everything built into the device. All things considered, I really like the device, but had higher hopes for the Note line.
This phone is the best phone I have ever had it runs smoothly and takes great pictures. It has great quality and the settings are easy to use. Along with the new s pen design so you can access it easily. It is a little costs but totally worth it with all the abilitys and the large 5.7 inch screen.
The whole phone itself is amazing. Some features that I don't like is the ability to clear ram has been taken away. Also all's automatically reset once you back out of it. For 4GB of RAM the phone should be blazing faster than it is right now. Other than that the phone is brilliant.
Note 5 Has Replaced My Computer, iPad, Scanner, & All Paper

I wish I could choose better adjectives than "love", "adore", & "appreciate". It is near PERFECTION. The Note 5 is so powerful & functional that it has replaced my computer, iPad, scanner, and all paper for notes, lists, & most documents. The lack of a removable battery and external micro SD card are an initial shock but after using it for a week or two, I no longer even care. There are a few quirks but all are easily fixed via a subsequent OTA software update and none are anything significant (having to agree to setting & clearing a default for each multiple choice of a lead-in or connected function such as choosing the built-in browser or an add-on like Chrome or Firefox or the lack of Facebook Calendar integration for the stock or Google calendars). The only ONLY "negative" is a tendency to overheat....a LOT. When the cellular signal is weak/roaming, &/or 75% or more of the CPU/RAM is being utilized, &/or certain 3rd Party Apps are installed and running, &/or it is using the included Rapid Charging cable w/wall plug in certain environments or situations, the Galaxy Note 5 can become too hot to handle...literally. This is a known issue with the Samsung Galaxy Series and I do hope they are working on it to remove the lone negative aspect of a near-perfect smartphone/phablet/pocket laptop.
The Galaxy S-Pen has only grown more useful and intelligent since the first Note. The ability to write notes on the screen while off is more than 'handy', it has already helped me in an emergency when I used it to jot down the license plate number of a vehicle who was driving dangerously and going so fast there was no time to grab a pen & paper. The police were able to apprehend the driver easily with my Action Memo. The ability to set reminders and customize them is not only useful, it is a crucial feature I employ nearly every day. With a few small tweaks, like fixing the overheating problem, removing the forced choice of defaults/clearing them to use alternative Apps, offering a case or some alternative/fix for the fragility of the very beautiful glass body, and (related) making the phablet waterproof so we can take EVERYwhere (like Theme Parks! Hint-Hint Samsung!!), the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will wear the title of "The PERFECT Device".
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, s-pen, split screen, large display, ability to adjust size of display icons font & m, fully customizable, powerful processor, 4 gb of ram, touch wiz keeps getting better, multiple reminder/alert features, enough storage to handle xxl apps
Cons: overheats, forces defaults/clearing defaults, no facebook calendar integration, glass body, not waterproof
I would recommend this to a friend!
