This phone is a very solid phone overall and has many features that make it a personal favorite of mine. It has a large, beautiful screen with lots of internal power and the battery lasts a decent amount of time for my amount of usage. Almost anything is an upgrade compared to my old phone but I am very happy with my decision of upgrade to this phone.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: gets hot

I upgraded from an older version of The Note to this Galaxy Note5. We considered the Galaxy Note 4 instead but the hardware in the Note5 was too good to pass up.
I wasn't sure about the Note5 as they did remove 2 features that are important to me: the removable battery and the expandable memory. I've previously always used a MicroSD card in my phone to store extra music for the gym. I also liked the plastic, lightweight body of the previous Note phones.
Despite the lack of these few features, I'm still glad we went with the Note5. The phone itself is still very lightweight and very slim. It's easy to slide in and out of my pocket, even with a dual-layer case on it. The phone itself is just beautiful. The display on the new Samsung devices cannot be competed with! The built-in speakers get VERY loud, although the sound isn't quite as good as the Beats audio on my old HTC One. It almost sounds a little tinny when turned all the way up. My favorite part of the new Note5 is the updated S-Pen. I don't use it that often but it's awesome when I do use it.
The battery life of the device is fantastic. I only charge it every 2 days, despite using it regularly, including streaming music for 2-3 hours per day. Not only does the battery last a long time, it also charges so incredibly fast. It does a full charge in 1.5 hours when plugged into the AC adapter. The wireless charging does take a bit longer but the convenience of that makes it worth it. Popping the phone down on the wireless pad instead of fiddling with a charger in the dark is great.
The phone has proven to be just as fast as I thought and I haven't been disappointed with the performance yet even with power saving mode turned on.
I've really been enjoying the Samsung Pay app and have used it at several different retailers already. It's SO convenient and easy to use, especially when I forget my wallet at home or I'm just on the run doing a simple errand. I love that I can use my fingerprint to pay with Samsung Pay as well as log into my mobile banking and other apps.
I feel like the camera quality on both the selfie cam and the rear cam has been highly improved since previous models. The selfie cam has a wide option and it really is WIDE. You could fit a whole group of people in it easily.

The size of the screen is perfect for just about anything. I'm still figuring out some things with the S-pen but it has definitely made use of the phone easier. I also like how it can utilize the split screen. I have wanted a Note phone for quite a while and this is actually the first one I have ever purchased. I am quite pleased with it.

From the camera to the screen to the responsiveness, this is in my opinion the best phone currently on the market. I'm in technology as my job and have been there for many decades so I have seen every type of device and this is the best. I can't seem to out it down.

Great device - or maybe not even device - but tool to expand you're talent.
Everything in the reach of you're hand. If you want to improve you're skills, be more organize, more productive - note 5 is That Big Thing which help's you to do that.
I'm really happy with that phone - makes live much more easier.

I've had my Note5 for almost a month now and I enjoy it as much now as the day I opened the box. The only thing I don't like about it is all the pre-installed apps from ATT that I have to disable vs uninstall.
I upgraded from an S4 hoping to get less of a phone and more of a PDA. The Note5 has far exceeded my expectations and is a delight to use.
I don't use the pen as much as I thought yet, but I like how it integrates. The pen is easy to use and it feels like it was designed for use with the device - not an afterthought.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, camera, video
