I had the note 4 before and this phone is so much better. It's a little slow sometimes but the features and the look of the phone is amazing.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: slow at times

I've been using the Note 5 for about 2 weeks now through the test drive program Samsung has and I can honestly say that I love this phone. I love the camera on it, the photos are EXCELLENT quality. I love that if I want to write my text with the S pen instead of typing it all out on the keyboard, I can do that. The HD quality is great and shines through in every video and photo taken. It's sleek and innovative, just an all around top notch phone.

Super fast, great phone, hope the software holds up

I almost switched to iPhone after owning an LG G2 for two years because the performance was so poor. I decided to give the Note 5 a chance before switching to Apple and this far I'm very pleased. It looks great, super fast, comfortable design, and I find myself using the pen more than I thought it would. The only low point so far is that one day the screen wouldn't switch to landscape mode when I turned the phone for watching videos and I was very frustrated as I only have had the phone a couple of weeks. However, after restarting the phone it worked again. I hope I don't have any more software issues like I had with the LG. The antenna seems to be better on this than the LG as well which was another reason for almost switching to an iphone. I have yet to see if the antenna works as good as my wife's iPhone but so far I'm loving it and not sorry about not switching to an iphone.

I went from a Samsung Galaxy 5 to a note 5. I liked the fact that the galaxy had the headphone jack on the top where the note is on the bottom like iphone. I like the memo ability in locked screen with the note 5. And the clear big screen. I had thought the pen was more user friendly and that the split screen function would be different than the galaxy but it's the same. Your home button has only two functions one press gets you home screen two opens your camera. Camera isn't much better, zoom and focus still not very good. Always better than standard iphone though. Processor is faster. The pen is handy, but I would have loved to met a samsung rep anywhere who knew about this device when I purchased it. I miss being able to add external storage. I had to get a 64gb to hope it would hold it all. Was hoping to get this and be blown away, I am just not. It is good, works well, and meets basic needs though. Better than the galaxy, but not the next Big thing- just a slight improvement of an old trick.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, ads made it seem like the pens would be easier.

Best note series phone I've had to date. Plenty fast amazing camera love the new s pen and the sleek design not to mention the finger print scanner is legit. Only negative so far is the battery life. Dont miss out on the next big thjng!

First Time Note Owner (1 Month After)

Moving from the "S" to the "Note" line of Samsung phone was a good move for me. with me having bigger hands than most people, the phone just fits almost perfectly. The performance is great with my only gripes with the phone itself is the battery life. Other than that it is a solid phone all together. Also from going from the S5 to the Note 5, I have come to terms and can live without the microSD card slot and removable battery. The other other thing I would have to say about the Note 5 is that I was disappointed that my S Pen broke at the protruding end of it and not I have a hard time pulling to S Pen out of the phone. I tried to get it replaced considering I only have the phone for about 3 days when this event happen, but no one could help me. But I still love my phone and will most likely continue on using the Note line in the future and I have even convinced my 63 family member to get the phone and she has enjoyed having the phone thus far. Keep up the good work Samsung!
*Note: The SideSync is amazing when I plug the phone up to my ATIV Book 8.
