I absolutely love this phone. I run my life with it, we'll, pretty much!! The only issues i have are... i really wanted it to be a little bigger maybe 6.2 inches.... and yes, it is expensive but for all that it does, i ephod pay it twice :-)
Pros: Bright display
Cons: bigger would be even better
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall this is a great device. My cons list is longer than my pros list only because I'm picky and it's easier to point out individual negative things when they stand out like sore thumbs amongst all of the positive. All in all, this device has met/exceeded most of my expectations. Also, please note that all comparisons to past devices are to the Note 4.
Pros: This phone is fast - ridiculously so, even compared to similar hardware running vanilla versions of android. The fingerprint reader is real nice and snappy. Overall, very impressed.
Cons: I still don't understand the move to a sealed unit. The S-pen doesn't really click lock into place (is just the end of the pen that clicks - which I will admit is nice for people like me that find it soothing to sit there and click the clickiness out of a pen when we think; sorry to everyone else around me that this annoys) it can still pop out when the device is jostled. Sooooo much bloatware. No remote - what happened to this !?!? now I can't turn any of my tvs on..... Speaker is better but still nothing to write home about.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, fast, fingerprint sensor, end of s-pen clicks like a real pen
Cons: no expandable memory, no tv remote feature, bloatware, s-pen does not lock into place
I would recommend this to a friend!

Finally upgraded from my old Galaxy 3 to the Note 5 and love this new phone. I'm over 60 and work in software development but not a big social network fan. Thought I would have problem with the size but its great so far. Phone has looks, performance, great camera, battery life and a pen that really makes my life easy for taking notes and typing versus using my fingers. Resolution is great even for viewing document on the phone. Got the 32 GB version which is more that I had before with my old 16 GB phone + 8 GB memory card. Personally, I don't need a lot of gadgets or apps as I found over the years that while the apps appear cool and a great idea, I only use a select few and the rest just use up memory and drain battery life if they run in background mode. New Android OS 5.0 definitely helps. I should be good for another 3 years unless battery life starts to go downhill fast since I can't replace it.
This is the best phone I have ever used. I have installed everything I need on it and it has not slowed down at all yet. It is super fast and I am loving the transitions. I purchased the 64 bit model and still have tons of storage space remaining. Appsolutly love all of the customizable features it has to offer. Great job Samsung.
Pros: awesome camera, awesome display, s pen
Cons: not waterproof
I would recommend this to a friend!
