Love the phone but had two glitches. First one was with my wife's phone. She turned it off and could not get it back on for 20 hours. Second my phone when rotates the screen it locks up. Other than those two issues they are great.
Pros: So many new cool features. Love the edge swipe although it can be challenging to read articles & pages that curve over the edge. Love the night clock aling the edge at night time. Super fast. Light weight. Loved the Smart Switch allowing me to easily copy over EVERYTHING from my old phone. Long lasting battery. Cons: EXPENSIVE!!! Headphone jack at bottom of phone. Few accessories available.
Acquired phone on the release day. I've had no issue with anything on the phone. Free themes and phone specific apps are great. Other than some minor bloat ware from AT&The I've had no real issue with the phone. Edge notification and light up options are awesome. The phone is fast and very responsive, if for a slightly bigger battery.
This is hands down the best Galaxy S phone ever made. As of yet, I have found nothing it can't handle with the greatest of ease.
Every "failing" of its predecessor, the Edge, was addressed and corrected perfectly.
The battery life is more than adequate, it completely eliminates the need of the power pack I used daily with the Edge. In fact, I'm not even sure where it is anymore. I believe I left it in my backpack. It also happily removes the need to find a costly and bulky power cell case. When you factor in features like Power Save and the simultaneously ugly AND sexy Ultra Power Save modes, you can leave the charger at the house for a day or two and survive quite nicely.
It's not overly laden with bloatware, almost everything included is functional and worth having. Add the Galaxy App store and you can create a truly powerful tool for work and play.
I'm a big guy with big hands so the beefy 5.7" screen works well for me all around but even so, I occasionally use the "One Handed Operation" feature to quickly and efficiently reduce screen size and make use incredibly easy.
And you'll be incredibly hard pressed to find a better camera on a phone. With all the extra modes that you can download, you can do darn near anything. I'm especially fond of the Two Camera Mode.
In short, I can only come up with two potential short comings. There isn't an option for the 128G version. Having said that, it's not necessary. At all. The price could be a little friendlier but you get what you pay for and in this case, what you get is the best connected experience possible. Bar none.
Okay, I thought of a third potential short coming. My phone isn't black, it's a very, very deep blue.
This phone it's very easy to use and very innovative
