Great Phone!

I was a long time iPhone user and recently switched to a Samsung Note 4. I really liked the Note 4 however there were a few things that were cumbersome. I decided to upgrade to the Note 5 because I liked that the device itself was narrower and easier to hold with one hand. I was hesitant due to the loss of the removable battery, expandable memory and IR blaster. I do wish that we had the removable battery option however I never really used it with my Note 4 and never had the option with the iPhone. The salesperson that sold me the phone also sold me a flashdrive that is compatible with my phone as well as my computer so that took care of the expandable memory issue. And the IR blaster, well, I didn't use the remote function much and I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, so I have that function on my tablet. In all, I really do like the Note 5 and would not hesitate to tell a Note 4 user or iPhone user to make the switch.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight

Upgraded from IPhone 5c

Wife and I both upgraded from IPhone 5c to the Samsung Note5. We both love the screen size and camera,and the added stylus pen nice but very difficult to remove when a case
Is placed on unit. The Samsung pay is great app however not one of bank cards or credit cards are able to be used with the app. Placement of speaker front instead of bottom would make more sense. The power and volume buttons poor placement. Battery life not good but battery saver app helps alot.The security has our concern but have added after market products. The people at Verizon very poor job at assisting us to setup and transfer data but Folks at Samsung very helpful. Would we purchase again YES! Every instructional video we use and every article we reads opens up so many more options than we ever had available with the Iphone.The one area we will change will be carrier Verizon has very poor customer service and has worsened over the previous 5 years. Samsung is a great product next purchase new Samsung flat screen.

This is my first Galaxy Note 5 Phone, It has a great screen, vivid colors. I have had one other samsung phone and it was an S3. The S3 was an okay phone for its day but the Note 5 is maybe the best phone I have had. It is quick and responsive. The S pen is a great feature and I am enjoying the ability to use it. Overall this is a great phone and I am enjoying it.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: a little on the spendy side.

loving the Note phones

I have used all the note phones & over all they have gotten better each time. The pen is much easier to remove with the 5 & I love that you can write on the screen now without turning it on. Best feature over all is the scrolling screen capture. The only reason I didn't give this phone 5 stars is because The alarm is not as good. I loved the way it was on the Note 3 but it has gone downhill with each Note phone since then.

Cons: alarm is hard to read & limited

A few years ago I bought the Note 2 and loved it! Unfortunately, my wonderful Note 2 was worn out and it was time for retirement! So, after reviewing Samsung's newest phones I decided on the Note 5 and have not been disappointed at all! With all of the options offered with this phone you would be hard pressed to find a better Smart Phone! Simply put, "I LOVE MY NOTE 5"!

This phone is terrific! Especially the camera and screen images. I do have a problem with texting. I do not get some texts from individuals sent from iPhone.
