I've own a Note 3, Note 5, and now this Note 8. Definitely an improvement, which it should be. But I think it's probably the best phone on the market today.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: cost! but that is the same for all cell phones
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using my note 5 for a few weeks now. Ill have to say it feels like a great phone till its on and your trying to do stuff. It is laggy and locks up almost 80% of the time im using it. i would think i would get a super fast device but this locks up way to much in my use.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not able to use a card and doesn't come in 128 gb

I would love to upgrade, but you left me hanging. I want to be able to at least put a card in it to upgrade my storage. Only goes up to 64gb. I would like the edge to, but there again the same problem.

The notification text font needs the ability to be changed to large or small letters(the feature on the note 4 should have carried over to the note 5 ie....volume button worked wonderfully for this!) The camera app needs to be easier for editing pics ie.....cropping pics) but overall it's an amazing phone!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, perfect size
Cons: font size of notification on front display needs t

Iphone want to be?

I have always loved Samsungs products and recommended them to everyone. I just got the Note 5 and am EXTREMELY UPSET that you have removed the ability for me to add a SD card or change the battery! If I wanted a iphone I woild buy one, I DON'T! I work in Emergency Services and while working there are times when I have needed to change my battery out to an extra one so I can continue to use my phone and data, now you have killed that! Why would you think loyal Android Samsung users would want to give these option up? The only reasons I DON'T buy an Iphone is they have no SD card Memory stoarge increasibility, and I can't change the battery out.
Other than the Most important 2 features I just stated, your phone is good, to get Great you would need to add the most important things back in this EXPENSIVE PURCHASE!
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight, s pen
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no sd card, battery not changeable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Phone, but dire design flaws
on November 1, 2015

For the first few weeks of having this phone, everything was great, besides it being smaller and having slightly less battery power than expected. I loved it, and one of my favorite features was the S pen, but through the the last few weeks, I have found it accidentally clicking and releasing itself. I found it many times just dangling out of my phone randomly without touching it; this made me terrified of loosing it whenever I took my phone anywhere, and I was right to be afraid, I noticed it missing the other day after a night of treat or treating and can't find where it fell out at. Now I am left with either buying a new (and quite expensive) pen, and risk loosing it again due to no fault of my own, or just leave a gaping hole in my phone and have S pen features clutter it . The S Pen was the reason I bought this particular phone, and I am more than disappointed by this flaw. The shorter than expected battery life I can deal with, no SD card I can deal with, but a disappearing S Pen I can not deal with.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, amazing front and rear camera, many colour options, easy to find cases for
Cons: Did not meet expectations, s pen falls out randomly, smaller than expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

terrible compared to my note 4......

Compared to the note 4 the note 5 took a big step back. The main things are that the phone has no expandable memory, no removable battery, can't be on a phone call and searching the Internet. I mean seriously this phone is meant for multitasking but I can't be on a call and multitask on the internet. Also the phone has no ir sensor on it compared to the note 4. The phone is basically the note 4 but a few steps forward then a huge step back. There are no really new and exciting features with it. Rather have traded to the iPhone or kept my note 4, and I hate the iphones.......waste of money for the note 5
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, sleek design, s pen setup, fast charging
Cons: Did not meet expectations, charge port is a big weak point, no ir to use as remote, can't use internet while on phone!, gets viruses...., slow, glitches, camera can't take pictures if your not perfectly s
