I have used Samsung phones since Galaxy phones started and have used Galaxy Note's since they started and absolutely love these phones. The functionality is great, the user interfaces is always improving and the durability of the phones is surprisingly good. I use my phone for hours a day, making calls, taking pictures & videos, editing powerpoints, word documents, excel files, etc. and never have any issues. The battery life is constantly improving with each new version of the phone, the screen is crazy clear, the processors really never seem to bog down when using with several programs running at the same time. Overall Samsung has a winner and they continue to be cutting edge with each new phone version.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: expensive

If you are not familiar with Samsung Galaxy products you will have no issues in using the Note 5. It is super easy to get started. The pictures it takes are amazing. It has handy features like the S pen. Overall, it is awesome.

I have only had this phone for a month but really like it a lot. Had a note 3 but they added so much to the 5 I have really enjoyed it. The camera is phenomenal on it. There are only 3 things I would change. I would make it with expandable memory like SD card. I would go back to the older style back and not out of glass. I love the charge pad but it will not work with my otter box cover. Fix that and it would be near impossible to beat.

In general, I love this phone. However, the S pen doesn't fit well. And now it's gone, probably somewhere in my house. My car isn't connecting with the blue tooth, not sure why.

Awesome is the only word that comes to mind. Love the display and how clear it is. I had a note 4 and did not want a new phone. But I broke the screen and it was cheaper to get a new phone. Was skeptical at first but once I got the note 5 I absolutely love it. Battery last longer and love the wireless charging. Just buy one you will like it.
