Almost a perfect phone

I've owned a Note 2 and Note 3 prior to purchasing my new Note 5. Unfortunately it is a step down. I really like the phone, but it is lacking in several ways that the previous phones didn't. Unfortunately I'm now limited to only internal storage at 64GB. My previous Note phones had an expansion slot for a memory card where I kept a 65GB memory card and eventually a 128GB memory card. This is a serious step backwards. Additionally, I travel long distances without the ability to charge my phone. Even though the Note 5 supports fast charging, I do not have access to a charger on my travels. The previous Notes had a removable battery that I miss. I read a lot of forums and most users would gladly accept a phone that is 1-2mm thicker to accept a larger battery.
However, the Note 5 is great in many other ways. It has an outstanding camera, plenty of power, and the display is amazing. The phone works great. The only flaw is the multi window/split screen. In the past I was able to root my phone and install ROMs which allowed every app on my phone to work in multi window. The new Note 5 is not able to be modified and thus I'm stuck with the very VERY few apps that work in multi window. I have yet to find one app that did not work in multi window on previous Note phones. I do not know why they don't allow the user to take advantage of the multi window flexabilities. Out of millions of apps available to android, I cannot say that multi window is useful on a stock Note 5 phone. There are about 20 apps the appear in the multi window list. Unfortunately, as I said earlier, almost every singe 120 of my apps on previous Notes works perfectly.
It's a good phone that could be great. I would recommend this phone to my friends. However, if android adds multi window to stock android 7.0 in the future, I will likely cease to use Galaxy Note phones. Without removable battery, external memory, and multi windows, this phone is not much better than anything else on the market. Unfortunately Samsung will loose a loyal customer after this phone. As with all Note phones, the speaker is quite inadequate.

Best phone ever

I have owned many phones (including a princess line phone - look it up), and this is by far my favorite one ever! The clarity on the screen is amazing, love the stylus, it was super easy to get set up. So basically, it's awesome!
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable

The Best Note

I really like the camera better and the battery life still the same but it charges faster. I love all the new apps u can use especially the Pay Samsung. The fingerprint identity is so safe b/c my son's cannot brake in my phone. I'm addicted I think every store suppose to be able to take it. I had a girl say I didn't even know we had that like the commercial. Lol

Cons: u still cannot use data when on a phone call., battery life

i am a huge fan of the Note series. The Note 5 is by far my favorite. The speed of the phone is 2nd to none. I love the new PRO Mode on the Camera

Ive owned the note 2, 3, 4, and now the 5 all of them are great! The new Note 5 is the best phone out there, its new design is great also. There are two things that I personally needed that were not included on the Note 5...... the removable storage and the IR blaster. Hopefully they will be on the Note 6.
