2 steps above my previous Galaxy Note 3. Nice display, improved camera and images and software. 4K video would've been a nice feature. More RAM at 3GB vs 2GB improves overall system performance. Aluminum body feels sturdier and looks better than plastic on previous versions. Still a lot of bloatware. Rarely use S-pen, so not really a strong selling point for me. Wold love to see a better sealed/waterproof phone in future versions...especially since removable battery and external storage (eg microSD) support has been eliminated.
Cons: no 4k display or video capture, not waterproof/resistant enough
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone has almost everything you could need in phone. I had the galaxy note 3 for over two years. This is definitely a great update to that. The only problem I have with my note 5 compared to the 3 is battery life doesn't last as long.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers
I would recommend this to a friend!

The ability to write on pretty much any document, picture, screen shot, etc. is amazing!
I knew the battery could not be removed, no SD card and S pen problems so I won't bother saying any more about them. What I did not know is how close the screen is to the edge of the phone. I have very large hands and I often find myself actually touching the screen just by holding the phone. This makes the phone think I want to enlarge anything on the screen instead of simply scrolling. I also find that I often press the back button with my palm.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: not big enough for people with large hands.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I use my device for a mix of business and personal. The Note 5 does everything that I need and so much more. I have had no problems with the phone. I have recommended the Note 5 to friends who are looking to upgrade.

It was time for a phone upgrade, so we went looking. My wife originally wanted an Iphone, but I think they are name only products. I sold her on the Samsung Note5, from the great display, to all the features. She loves to take pictures, you can't get better quality then Samsung display. After playing with her new phone for a couple days, she is very convinced of the choice she made.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers
Cons: sorry can't find one
I would recommend this to a friend!

Only put a 4 for value as I think vendors are raising the price on devices but can make them cheaper.
