Beautiful screen. Size is good, I was afraid it might be too big. Battery life is not great. My S5 was tons better as is my husbands S6 active. The antenna (or at least cell reception) is not great. I can be sitting right next to my husband and he has full bars and I have 2.
MANY times it won't connect to the web. AT&T exchanged my first Note 5 because the reception was so bad. This one is not much better.
I will not get a Note again which is sad because I really like the size and screen quality.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: terrible reception
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone has it all. It is very user friendly and can be used for a wide variety of purposes.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable

It's a great phone

I was skeptical about changing from the S5 to the Note 5. I like the replacable battery and the SD card. Howver, the Note 5 has had great battery life so needing to replace it like my S5 has not been necessary. The wireless charging is also a great feature and with that, it charges incredibly fast.
The camera and screen are great too. The pictures I have taken with the Note 5 are beautiful.
My favorite feature is the S pen. I'm a post-it note kinda guy. With the Note 5, I simply take out the pen and can start taking notes while I am on a work call.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: no sd card

Such a great phone .....I've had note 3,note 4 , and now note 5. Never stops impressing me and they keep improving. Only complaint is being about to send videos and the quality of the picture when your sending it . takes such great pics just don't know why it becomes less clear.
