Had. Note 3 before this one has a much better display.. The slimmer feel makes holding the phone much more comfortable... I really miss the location alarm that the note 5 does not have anymore.
I love my new Note 5! I wish I can have more battery otherwise for me is the perfect phone.
Pros: camera, screen definition
Cons: battery life, no space sd-card
I would recommend this to a friend!

I switched from a 6-year loyalty to another phone manufacturer to the Samsung Note5 and... WOW! Why did I wait so long?! This phone is smooth. The design is sleek, user-friendly, and professional, making me look good as I whip out my stylus and start taking notes in a meeting. I'm kind of like the envy of the room.
The screen is brilliant and full of vivid colors, the buttons are easy to access and super responsive, and the phone handles itself like a well-built computer that doubles as a phone. I love the camera (one thing the other manufacturer never invested in), with it's quick open and shoot response time. I was originally thinking about another smart phone because of the camera, but after using the Note5 camera, I am SO glad I made the decision to go with Samsung.
As I can tell so far, the Note5 is durable and well made. It's sleek in the hands, sans a cover, and feels like a high-end product. I like mine with a cover because it adds the extra piece of mind that I'll be able to hold onto it; it's big -- my hands are bigger. The design of the phone looks sharp and draws attention to it.
Speech-to-text is spot on almost every time. I love the touch sensitivity and response -- using my finger, but even more so, using the stylus. It's definitely a learning curve switching from one manufacturer to another, but navigating the Note5 has been a breeze.
All in all, I couldn't be happier with my Samsung Galaxy Note5. It's my 2015 recommended buy if you are thinking of upgraded or changing things up in your smart phone world.
For a bigger phone, (used to have the galaxy 4), I am impressed with the size. My only complaint is with Verizon cloud backed up contacts, it puts multiple listings for the same person.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight

I have always valued the expand-ability of the memory card in Samsung products. Especially since, as an iPhone user, I was denied this feature. With this in mind I was very disappointed to hear that Samsung had removed these features from the Note 5. To be honest, it made me question whether to make the change to the Note 5 when I had the opportunity. This lead me to look for other phones in the same category. It was a really short search because there just isn't another phone like the Note 5. So I made the decision to jump in and purchase a 64 GB model.
I'll never look back. I would still love to have an expandable memory card, but I did not have these on the iPhone and I survived. The features and functionality of this phone are awesome! When I'm asked about something I do on my phone, my favorite response is, "because it's not an iPhone. That's why it works so well." I use the stylus all the time. I love the handwriting to text feature. I love the camera and all it's functionality. I love how SideSync allows me to use my phone from my laptop at work without having to pickup my phone. I love that I can control the layout of my screens and not be locked into the grid of the iPhone.
My phone is my constant companion. I use it through out the day everyday. This is the first phone I have ever had that I actually find myself looking for a reason to use it, rather than just using it because I need to.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, fast, reliable, 16 gb camera with ability for raw in pro mode
Cons: no expandable memory
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am a huge Samsung fan. I would give it a 5 star rating but the 2 main features that I love have been removed like the micro sd slot and the removable battery.. I can live with out them in my life for now.. I do love the design. Over all its a fantastic device and the performance is amazing. Works great together with all my other Samsung device's.
