I'm an IT professional with over 25 years of experience and expertise, therefore, passionate about great technology products. This is one of those products. I've compared the S7 Edge with other colleagues and friends. I'm certain I've found nothing else to compare to at the moment. I've said several times 'I'm not sure what else I'd add to it.' Enough said! Well done folks...well done.

This phone is amazing.! I really love the features. The only thing I would change is the back glass, it needs to be as durable as the front glass. Also, I would move the power button. When I have a case on and I press to turn the phone on I inevitably hit the volume rocker on the opposite side. Other than that the phone is really WOW.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, the edge is a beautiful feature
Cons: back glass needs to be stronger, the power button shouldn't be opposite the volume

The phone, camera, and performance are good. The edge tabs are neat and helpful for quick access with out making excessive home screens. The flaws I noticed are the letters/numbers that are on the edges can be hard to push given they don't always register. The battery life is okay it's nice with the fast charger getting it fully charged from 0% to 100% in less than 2 hours. However, if you use the phone quite a bit through out the day it dies fast as well. The quickest it's died was within 6 hours, but a full battery with minimal use it has lasted nearly 3 full days. The only design flaw would be the difficulty in finding a good durable case. The value I feel is high though it mostly is worth it but for about the price of a Galaxy Note it shouldn't lack as much as it does compared to the Note.

Cons: Did not meet expectations

I love it when you have it upside-down and you get a call from someone it flashes. The only thing is the WiFi is sometimes a little wacky.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, flashes when called

Good Overall, missing a few

Overall the phone is very nice. The performance is fast, the phone is responsive and the camera works very well. There are only a few things I wish the phone was capable of. I liked the widescreen high resolution capability of the S5 and miss that on this phone. Also the main key is not 100% responsive. Sometime I have to press the button twice for it to activate the phone.
I miss the battery access of the S5. The phone looks more streamlined now, but sacrificing the battery access was a big negative when selecting a phone.
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: no battery access, lack of 16:9 aspect hi-res camera

Best Smartphone I Have Ever Owned

The Samsung Galaxy Edge 7 screen and clarity is so amazing even my wife is jelous (she owns an iPhone). All of the applications work flawlessly and I continue to discover new features after a month of ownership. I find the larger screen easier to use when texting and replying to work emails. And to my surprise the camera is taking pictures beyond my expectations. The image quality of the pictures rival my DSLR camera. Hands down this is the best phone on the market, well done Samsung!

A truly smart Smart Phone...

I've used several so called smart phones...and some flat out were rather dumb in terms of how available technology is used. I love the Galaxy S7 because it is very intuitive and interfaces with most of the apps and programs I want to use. I'm also blown away with how good the camera is. I'm a photographer and a musician so when I saw what the camera can do in Pro Mode and how good the sound is on it's own I was extremely pleased. This is a good and smart Smart Phone.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, incredible camera, great sound with no external speakers
Cons: sometimes does a few things without me asking it t, not many at all :-)
