I had an S5 and it was great. I did not get an S6 because they removed the ability to add more storage via mini SD card. The S7 has this now, and all the features-including the Edge-are great. I hope they have more enhancements for the Edge down the road.
Get one, you won't regret it.

S7 edge is a great phone. Camera performance and features are great. Phone is super fast and responsive. Crystal clear audio, great resolution on screen. Overall a great phone!

Solid phone - getting closer

Overall I like the phone. Build quality is good, Samsung touchwiz has been drastically reduced and is no longer as present as before which is a good thing. Camera is very solid, and the phone feels good in hand. The waterproof rating is nice to have, but I haven't had any reason to test it yet. The biggest complaint for me is battery life is still subpar. Using it somewhat frequently won't get me through a day, and I still find myself reaching for the charger half way through every single day. Not including USB Type-C was a disappointment but I'm sure they had to leave something for the Galaxy S8.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight
Cons: battery life

I love this phone it feels nice in your hands. I love that it's water proof. It has so many great features. The camera is seriously my most favorite it is such a great camera so crisp and clean.

Cons: it overheats more than i would like

I pre-ordered the S7 edge and got Gear VR free with the device, perfectly worthy for the price. I used this device for 2months now and so far absolutely zero problems.
Build quality: 10/10
Features for the price: 10/10
Camera: 10/10 (absolutely stunning picture quality)
Battery life: 3600Mah for me works more than a day, so 10/10
General use Performance: 10/10
Performance when using Gear VR: 8/10(heats up a little bit and slows down after 30mins)
Overall satisfaction: 10/10

Sleek and hot performance. Best phone yet. I understand why some iPhone users are going to the s7. Phone is great. Keep up the good work. I really appreciate the SD card but wish it had a reachable battery too. All in all, great phone! I would do it again.
