Great Phone

I was a bit aprehensive about switching from my note 4 to the S7 because of battery life. If my battery died in my note 4, i could just pop in another. I hated the idea of losing that ability. However, the battery in the S7 had been very good, and the phone works well. It is a little slippeey in your hands, and I highly recommend a protective cover. The edge function is well, functional. It does a great job at hiding my icons and giving me access to them when needed. The android software works seamlessly with the phone, and porting all my apps and images over from my old phone worked flawlessly. I am a photographer and have my own photography business, and i have to say i am impressed with the camera on the phone. Still not sure why the speaker for the phone is on the back of the phone. It seems like if i want to watch a movie, it would sound better if the speaker was directly facing me.

Great phone, love everything about it and the way it feels. The pic quality is better on here than any other phone I've ever had. Love the phone so glad I decided to get it.

Excellent Smartphone

After years of sticking with the competition Samsung managed to win my trust. This phone is not only elegant, the best piece of technology out there but the user interface is great. This smartphone is powerful, flawless and 100% better looking than my now in the drawer iPhone 6s. The screen is to die for, the colors, the edges, the blacks are amazing. Wireless charging, fast charging, I'm a power user and the battery is superior than my former phone by far.
Samsung Pay, oh lord!!! Is amazing, is accepted almost everywhere, I was speechless when a terminal that didn't have NFC accepted my transaction, it has a technology (I don't remember the name at this time) that works like you are swiping your card into the terminal, WOW!!
In general, this is the most superior phone in the market as of today. I love it and I invite all of my iPhones addicts friends to give it a shot. I know we stick for the OS but you have to admit that is not like before, is full of annoying bugs and requires constant updates. Plus it does not have half of the technology this one does. Just give it a chance if not is ok to keep staying on the back.

I love this phone!

I have been a fan the galaxy's since the S3, but this one is my favorite! I have a little "at home" business and I am able to do everything for it on my phone video conference calls, multiple screens, social media, download documents, share documents, training videos, etc! Plus my kids even have fun with it by using the kid app! And speaking of kids I love taking pictures of my kids with the amazing camera!
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, waterproof
Cons: might be too expensive for most people.

Faster, better than previous s series phones

My only complaint is the screen broke randomly after only two months. I didn't even drop it or anything.

Samsung 7 Continues to Improve

The Samsung 7 is an improvement in a few key ways over my previous Samsung IV. The 32GB device storage capacity is a much needed feature over the 16GB device memory of the Samsung IV. Even though, I had installed a 32GB SD card External Memory, many programs would not run from from the SD Card leaving me without the ability to add programs. (By the way, I'm not a phone gamer. All the programs installed are usually work or information related.)
The new Samsung 7 with its 32 GB device memory does a better job of this, but the Samsung and Google programs still will only use the device memory. Increasing the device memory was a positive step. The next versions need to increase even further. I also installed a 190GB SD Card to run as many installed programs from it as possible.
The screen quality is an improvement. It very crisp, clear, and bright. It seems to also get a slightly improved cell reception. (We live in a rural, underserved cell area.) The wifi antenna reception also seems to be slightly improved.
The water resistant feature is a big improvement. I have the phone protected with an Otterbox case. What is so much nicer is that plugging in headphones and chargers is much easier. There are no water protective flaps to open each time any of the plug ports need to be accessed. A big plus.
I'm still learning about all the features of the phone. The ones I use most have been thoughtfully designed well.
I would recommend this phone without hesitation.
