Great phone - with a couple of minor exceptions

I've had a Note 2 for a few years that I really liked bit it was time to upgrade. I wanted a similarly sized screen and the Edge + provides that and much more. This phone is definitely an upgrade. The screen is great - very clear and excellent color. Phone call quality is very good. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to find a case and screen protector that worked with the curved screen and low profile edges but not a problem in the least. I don't yet find the side bar news feed very useful but the easy access to favorite contacts and apps is handy. My only real beefs with the phone are the inevitable bloatware that I can't get rid of, the lack of a slot to add more storage, and the cost of upgrading to the version with more GB's of storage. The fact that the 64GB version was not available in gold was also kind of irritating because I am tired of my black phone. Those design issues aside, the phone is great and I am quite happy with it so far.

Cons: can't add storage

Perfect for work & play

I absolutely 6th is phone. It's perfect for keeping up with work on the go or just play around with while relaxing. I love the features this phone has and the way you can customize it for individual needs.

Does what I need

This phone has great security (keeps my kids off the phone) and it's fast with everything it does. The screen colors are phenomenal. The only slight annoyances are the placement of the power button and the max volume level. Overall, great phone.

I decided to go with the Samsung S6 Edge plus for an upgrade this time having been an iPhone user for more than 10 years because I read some reviews online that said that S6 is comparable or better than the iPhone 6. I want to experience for myself, plus I like to test out the wireless charger.
I have been reluctant to upgrade from iPhone 5 to 6 because I got small hands and like the convenient of the smaller phone being able to fit in my jean pocket snugly, especially when I sit down.
However, when talked to the Samsung representative, he said the Edge Plus has the latest processor and a little bit faster than the plain Edge so I opted for the Plus.
When I started using the Edge Plus, as I feared, I can not operate the phone with one hand anymore. Especially, when typing, my thumb can not reach to the other side to type letter k, l, m, o, p, or "Go".
It does not have the accessibility feature to bring everything down to half screen like the iPhone.
I also thought the battery would last a little longer than the iPhone 6 but they both are about the same.
The camera on the Edge Plus has more modes such as Fast Mode, where you can replay in fast speed.
The edge feature where it displays Time of Day and Notifications at night is cute and kind of useful.
The phone overall is very fast, much faster than my iPhone 5. The browser load pages quickly. The apps run really fast.
The screen quality is just as good as iPhone.
I tried the NFC to transfer pictures with my friend a few time but it did not work every time. it could have been user error. I have to tried these features a few more time.
All the apps in iPhone are available for S6, at least all the ones I look for.
Overall, I am happy with the phone performance compare to the iPhone but now I got to use both hands and when I sit down in my jean, I have to take the phone out of my front pocket.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Too big

Great Phone replacing wallet.

In the beginning, I doubted about Samsung Pay with Galaxy S6 edge+. But it didn't take long to find out its convenience and simple way to use it. Now, I literally carry only my Galaxy S6 edge+.. No more plastic cards!!
Whenever I place my phone on the card reader to pay, the store clerks are amazed that it works even they have traditional card reader. And I smile and say it is Samsung Pay.
It is very simple, but very useful.
