I just got this yesterday and set it up. Had a little issue with the initial update and connection but it may have been b/c I was doing other things at the same time. I connected to it and turned it on and blasted some music. Sounds great! I may have to get a couple more for the house.

Too many long updates

I have had my system for a couple of years now, and there is no doubt that the sound you get from it is amazing. My main criticism is that both the desktop app and the system itself seem to require almost weekly updates, and each time it can take 45 minutes or longer to accomplish them. When I want to listen to music, I want to listen, not futz around with software and firmware updates. Also, there seems to be an almost random refusal to find the playlists I have assigned to the system. If it were not so unreliable I would give it 4-5 stars, but the unpredictability of being able to listen to music makes this pretty much a loser for me.

Horrible setup for a set of simple speakers

I've spent 5-6 hours trying to get these speakers to play on bluetooth. I've connected them to wifi, paired them, downloaded the App and they still refuse to play music from wifi or downloaded music. Pure junk! If you do get them working you have to repeat the process of syncing them through wifi the next day because you'll find that they have stopped working. Don't be fooled by these other reviews.

Insane Sounds !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is unbelievable for a small speaker. Crystal clear sounds it creates and premium made. The app has great features and well made. 60% volume is enough to just blow you away. The reaon i always put my trust on BOSE products and never disappoints.

Not sure why BOSE did not put more emphasis into putting out a more usable APP to complement these great speakers. Here are what I hated about the APP: 1. Not able to find the speaker half of the time even though I live in a small apartment with a single wireless network 2. Poorly designed Graphic User Interface 3. Worst part is that you can't play music collections directly from iPhone using the APP (without using bluetooth or Aux in). In order to be able to play your music collections directly from APP, you will have to store them on a network storage device or PC powered on.

Great speaker for me and the family

Set up was ok. Alittle lengthy but it works well once it's set up. Sound is excellent for such a small unit. People are constantly looking or asking where I put the subwoofer. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. looking to buy another one. Or maybe 2.
