Incredible

Our Bose Lifestyle 12 Series II system went out after over 20 years of service and incredible sound. We purchased a SoundTouch 130 Home Theater System not expecting the quality of sound we were use to but assured any Bose product would be a quality product. We happily wrote a review on the SoundTouch 130 Home Theater System due to the incredible sound and now we are happy to be able to write a review for the SoundTouch 10. Bose's claims Full Rich Sound, along with family and friends we agree, we are amazed at the quality of the sound from the SoundTouch 10. Very easy to set up, took seconds for the 10 to find the wi-fi connection and maybe a minute or so to add the 10 to our 130 system, the sound and versatility of the SoundTouch 10 is remarkable. With the SoundTouch app we can operate the 130 and the 10 from our computer, tablet, or cell phone with ease. We give the SoundTouch 10 a 5 star all around even though we can not speak to the durability to date, it appears to be another Bose quality system and we are sure it will live up to the Bose quality of past that we have experienced.

Great Sound / Hard to Connect

Have been a Bose user for about 20 years. Love the sound as always … but these speakers fall short. almost impossible to get them to play together. one will come on right away .. when you try to connect the second one it will kick you out completely and the first one will also stop playing. this really should be easier when these speakers are designed to work together. Would honestly be better off buying a single speaker system because ultimately this is how these speakers work

Poor Bluetooth connectivity

So I get you did market research and concluded that Bluetooth is a more universally used way to connect to a wireless speaker. A lot of brands don't do that before making a drastic change to their products, so kudos. BUT if you remove air play and don't stream from Apple Music then your Bluetooth better be on point. In this case it's not. It's actually pretty terrible. I live in a 650 sq ft apt and my music constantly drops off even within a couple of feet. Forget about it if I turn a corner. I'm pretty sure your research insights team mentioned that taking away choices only work if what's left works remarkably well. And if they didn't, it's a conclusion that any marketer would have reached on their own. So I'll probably give this speaker away to someone who doesn't mind plugging in their phone and I'll get a sonos, which I'm sure is the exact opposite behavior you wanted to see after taking the time and effort to make this speaker and to conduct market reaearch prior to launch. Also the app is far from user friendly or attractive to use. Again, things that should have come up in your research as vital.

Not Stereo

Tried our 2 of the sound touch 10's with full knowledge that there were not capable of being paired to provide true stereo sound but there is talk that software is going to make this possible in the very near future. After experiencing the sound in the mono mode, just could not justify keeping them. If / when the stereo pairing becomes a reality, I will be a customer as I had no problems with the app, setup and features (bluetooth option, 3.5mm option, presets all GREAT).

Super cool system

I went to the local radio store today to look for a system that met my needs of expanding over time. I am amazed by all the features. e.g. that it connects, to I tunes, Spotyfy etc. plus internet radio. regular Bluetooth, and wired Aux. its just super and price wise it same price as Samsung, Sonos. (in Denmark) But you get the BOSE Qualty sound.YAY
