Great Sound out of a little package

I bought these speakers for the downstairs of my home with plans to upgrade to a larger soundtouch down the road. The only thing I am disappointed with is when used in the same room you cannot have stereo sound Left/right channels only mono.

Impressive sound!

We bought ours for the walk in closet and laundry room. Set up was a breeze. We currently use it for Pandora and our saved music on the computer. I noticed on the app that the bass level is already maxed out as a default setting. Good bass response but could be a little better. Definitely would not change it from the default setting. Having the unit in a shelf, close to a wall, helps with the bass. Not too bad a price point either. Integrates well with our lifestyle 535 and soundtouch 120.

Great for travel even though it needs to be plugged in! Doesn't take a lot of space and like other Bose systems I've owned over the years the quailty is excellent. Highly recommend! Can't beat the price either!

Great Sound, Not so great WiFi

These speakers sound great and can be place all over your home. It was also exciting to have a WiFi enabled speaker that can all sync wirelessly as opposed to Blue Tooth that only allows you to connect to one speaker.
The Down side to these WiFi speakers is you must use the Bose app which is not the most user friendly considering you open other apps within the Bose app. It is very slow and glitchy... Pairing one speaker over WiFi works pretty well but i can easily do that with BlueTooth, the problem comes in when you try to play music over multiple speakers, sometimes some or all speakers cut in and out.
Overall great speakers and no one else in the market has a better WiFi offering.

Quality Speaker alternative to Sonos

I bought the sound touch 10 last month and I will say that they are a good alternative to sonos (The leader in hi-fi audio) offering its own advantages.
The speaker performs really well in the high/mid range with good clear sound. Where the speaker is finicky is bass. I've noticed that if the speaker is out in the open the bass response is poor. If you have the speaker in a corner or against a wall, the bass response is dramatically improved.
The Soundtouch 10 offers bluetooth as well as wifi capability which makes it a very versatile speaker. You can use it for audio outside of the sound touch app which is good for visitors or if you just wish to quick connect a different device. There is also an auxiliary port as well. Sonos on the other hand restrains you to their app and there's only one way to connect. The preset buttons (hence the soundtouch name) are really convenient as well as you can play something without fiddling with a mobile device.
As for the app, it is improved since the most recent december update. I have not had many problems and it is pretty clean. I wish they kept the recents tab that was in the old app, and I hope that they continue to make improvements to the ecosystem.
Overall this is a very good speaker with a lot of versatility.

I love the speaker, the investment was well worth it! The speaker looks just wright. Plus the compatibilities with SiriusXM is awesome.

Easy to use

We liked these so much that we bought 3 of them. We have our music libraries on our phones and computer. We play our music libraries from our phones using bluetooth and connect to the speaker from our computer via wifi. The sound quality is good enough for the price. The only negative comment I have is that the speaker stops working sometimes and I have to go and restart the playing via the phone or computer. This is the reason why I am rating this product 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

Great sound, terrible app

Great sound when it works. I spend half my time updating it, reconnecting it to our home network, and then fighting the radio streaming drop outs. Once our home music library syncs up, it works great. The radio streaming they provide has been terrible with drop outs 2 to 3 times per song.
