I was going for one speaker, but I bought two of these. And I made them a stereo pair, and sounds much better.

I love it!

I recently bought a SoundTouch 30 Series III, and really like it! The sound quality is very good. The iPhone/iPad app is quite good, with great features, and very easy to use. Documentation could explain in more detail how to use the app, with tips, etc. There were a few things I had trouble with at first, but once I figured those things out, it has been great!

This speaker was given to my husband and I as a gift. It Worked great for the first year then went downhill after that. Started with the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection unable to connect then the speaker died.Trying to find an email for customer support and unable to. Very Disappointed as this speaker had great sound quality and I really loved it I just wished it had the longevity most Bose products have

Constant Problems

I don’t even know where to begin. Updates every week that disrupt what little service I can get. Speakers stop playing in the middle of a song and as a massage therapist it’s pretty unacceptable. Constantly have to reconnect to Wi-Fi. Cannot create a speaker pair but each will play fine separately. The list goes on. Get a Sonos.

Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to review the SoundTouch 10 speaker, we really appreciate your feedback.

I am really sorry to hear that you had issues with connection, the SoundTouch 10 speaker is reliant on a good WiFi connection which would explain the audio drop out. In this instance, I would recommend rebooting your router and making sure it has adequate signal strength. If you are still experiencing issues I would highly recommend that you call the customer care team as they would be more than happy to help you!

I hope this helps.

It doesn't get any more convenient than this. Throw in the Bose quality and you will never buy another vendor's product. Audio on wireless and Bluetooth is the best thing EVER. Move it where you need it. Available to multiple audio sources. WHO KNEW ?!?!?

EXCELLENT single transducer speaker

Bought this, seeing that I needed something compact but produces excellent sound. The SoundTouch 10 uses a single "unidome" transducer which is extremely impressive for its 2.5 inch size. The lack of a seperate tweeter and woofer means that phase distortion is extremely low and crossover problems are eliminated.
The SoundTouch 10 has extremely impressive bass, mids and treble for such a small speaker and a single transducer. It feels extremely well made, and the reinforced bass cabinet is obviously doing its job - no matter how high I crank this thing up, cabinet resonance and vibration are extraordinarily low - meaning that the sound is more focused, clear and articulate.
In addition, even though the SoundTouch app has some problems with Spotify presets, the app is very responsive and setting up the speaker was relatively pain-free. The presets are really what differentiates Bose's wireless music systems from their competitors. You don't even have to turn on your smartphone/laptop, as long as you've set it up with SoundTouch app previously, you can just press any one of the preset buttons (1 to 6) on the speaker and it automatically starts Spotify playlists or whatever you've set as a preset.
I highly recommend the Bose SoundTouch 10 for people with small-medium rooms. The sound is packed with detail AND power. You don't have to sacrifice detail in the treble for more bass, or vice versa. Plus, the addition of wireless connectivity just makes it THAT much more attractive and user-friendly to use.
Congratulations Bose. Amar would be proud. Listening to classical music on this just takes you to another level. Modern rock/pop genres also benefit hugely from this speaker's extremely clean, tight bass with very intimate and highly detailed vocals. LOVE IT.

App needs MAJOR improvements.

Bought this earlier this year and was initially impressed. Was using both the desktop and iPhone app seamlessly with iHeart Radio, my iTunes library, and Pandora with terrific sound quality. I felt I needed to write a review because the app for both services is TERRIBLE nowadays! Not only does it never find my Bose system online, but it constantly needs updating. Half the time I have to reset the system so that my laptop and phone can find it again. It's frustrating that more time is spent resetting the speaker than actually using it.
