Amazing TV!

This is without a doubt the best TV I've owned. The apps are great & bring a lot of convenience to it.
Where this really shines however is the picture, and that's what matters most in a TV. The colors are terrific and vibrant. The blacks and contrast are terrific. If you want something better, you're spending FAR more and would need something like an OLED, or one of the much more expensive 4k units.
Sound is about what you'd expect from a slim set like this. It's good, but you're never going to get great bass in something this slim.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, excellent blacks

Our old TV was about an 8 year old plasma that wasn't 1080. The difference our new Samsung made blew us away! The picture is super clear and smart tv features made cutting the cord even easier. Our tv channels we get from our antenna are even crystal clear, we couldn't be happier. The slimmer design also allowed us to fit a 48" in the same spot as our old 40". Would recommend this tv to anyone!!

Many Issues

I had many issues similar to other reviewers.
It worked great at first, but after a few months it would intermittently (and often):
1) Not respond to the remote until about 30 seconds after pushing a button,
2) Turn off/on randomly,
3) Dim the screen, then go back to normal,
4) Drop the wireless connection completely.
Not a good purchase.
