Awesome Bose Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As expected, this system puts out great sound! I like that it also reads MP3 CDs (for those who don’t know, this allows roughly 150+/- songs on a single disc). I like the AUX jack feature as well. The remote control works very well and covers every function! I caution NOT to lose it though. But the reason I only give it four stars is because I have to connect another source to it if I want to listen to satellite radio... Overall, I would recommend it...

No Toslink Optical in jack on back of Wave IV

With new TV's not having RCA type Audio out jacks, you cant have the sound from the TV go to your Bose radio unless it's with a cumbersome digital audio converter. Bose should have a Toslink optical input on back of the units.It's 2016, not 1989.

Thank you for reaching out for clarification. While this system isn't designed to be used for TV sound, we have heard from customers that it also succeeds in this manner. The most common way to accomplish this is by running a Y cable from your cable/satellite box directly to the auxiliary jack on the system.
We would recommend checking out another system, dedicated for TV sound, which may better fit your needs. Customers still enjoy music through it by streaming Bluetooth audio or playing CDs through their DVD player. It has the optical jack you are looking for.
