We have had a Bose radio/cd player for 24 years. The CD feature quit working a couple of years ago, but the radio and alarm still work and we use them about every day. We bought a new one for a different area of the house. Good sound. Picks up radio stations so much better than our Sony did. CD's play very well and easily too. I do like our old style better: operating buttons on top as well as on remote. And I'm afraid a CD could get stuck in this new model - whereas we could always lift the lid and remove a CD on the old model.

Great sound for the price and size of the unit

This is the second one I have purchased. My first one is 12+ years old and is having issues playing CDs. The new unit is not picking up the same radio stations the old unit did: not sure why?

Poor AM reception
