Fantastic sound

We had the Bose wave that sat on a pedestal. The CD player wasn’t working so we decided to upgrade our system. We love the new system! It takes up less room and the sound is amazing!

Great sound, but no Bluetooth

My parents have this stereo and I loved it so much, I bought myself one. I just didn’t realize Bluetooth does not come with this setup, it has to be purchased separately. I’m couldn’t find a Bose specific Bluetooth, so my parents gave me their attachment that Bose has since discontinued.

It's a Bose... That simple phrase encapsulates the untold number of words used to describe the Platinum Standard in consumer audio systems. Only wish it offered better input compatibility features such as Digital Optical port allowing it to be used with Smart TV.

Recently purchased a Bose Wave Radio System IV for the kitchen. Arrived quickly, easy set up, performs well. One nit to pick: the tone adjustment option is primitive. The only adjustment available is changing the bass from "Normal" to "Reduced." No way of increasing the bass or of adjusting the treble up or down. Come on, Bose, get with it. If this is supposed to be a serious hi-fi product you shouldn't be satisfied with such a primitive tone adjustment option.

Fall in love with your CDs again.

I had a Bose Wave radio until a decade ago and went without one for a decade. Oh how I missed it and I finally got around to purchasing one again in 2022. Not much has changed since the first I had in 2004! I’m glad for that but I also sense some sort of Bluetooth connectivity was in order after all this time, BUT I bought this ultimately to play the stacks of CDs long neglected. This system brings them back to life and connects me again with joy log listening to a disc all the way through with concert hall sound (even at low volumes). Enjoy physical CDs again with an affordable alternative to pricey stereo components.

Wave music system IV

I bought this as a Xmas present for my wife. She was not very happy when she was unable to tune into her favorite station, FM 87.7. Today, I installed the recommended antenna which I had to pay for separately, which does nothing to improve reception. As a CD player, it was wonderful, as an FM radio it was terrible. Ready to put old radio back.
