Great Sound Terrible reception

I bought this for my selfie Christmas. The sound on the stations that it will pick up is great. The problem is it will not pick up the station that I listen to the most. I have a $50 am-fm clock radio that picks the station up great and the Bose will not. I will try the Bose wave IV antenna when they become available. If that does the job I will keep it if not then I will regift it, because the return time will have expired. The sound is Subperb 2nd to none.

The sound is unbelievable

Bought this product about 4 months ago, loved it so much I bought one for my mom that is 94 years old and home bound, loves to listen to music every day, has brought so much enjoyment to both of us.

Finally treated myself and couldn't be happier! So easy and intuitive to set up. Like the system's compact size overall, though I hope the remote is enlarged in the future.

Very Good Music System

I purchased this as a gift for someone in my family to replace a microsystem that was beginning to fail. I was very disappointed with the availability of prebuilt micro systems. Most reviews of the same microsystems were very off-putting. I remembered reading about the Bose Wave systems years ago and looked into the Wave IV system. I set the system up for the recipient and I was very impressed with the sound. I think its simplicity is great and was the right fit for the person receiving the gift. I know the system hasn't been updated in years but I think with a few updates this would be killer product. Built in WIFI and Bluetooth capabilities should be added as standard. Too many devices have these right out of the box and its 2022. The remote buttons should be illuminated since it’s the only source of control. Buttons should probably be returned to the unit itself as well though. The display is dated even for its original release date but I'd hope the simplicity means longevity shouldn't be a concern. A three-disc standard CD changer would be great as well. Overall, I'd say I'd recommend the product. The new owner seems to be very happy with it as well.

Bought for my husband for Christmas. He was disappointed he can’t Bluetooth his music to it. Bose has fallen behind in technology.

Hello,
The Wave System IV as noted in the specs does not support Bluetooth. The main use-case for this product is for listening to CDs and radio. Straightforward, great sound in a compact form factor, which suits the needs of people who still enjoy the medium of disc-based music.
If you wish to add Bluetooth to the system, you can of course connect a third party Bluetooth adapter to the 3.5mm AUX input on the back of the unit.

Bought as Christmas gift for a friend. It would not get radio stations, he returned to Bose for repair. I think Bose should send him another unit immediately instead of making him wait for repairs
