I've had this Bose Sound System for more than a year. It is easy to set up and operate. I use it as a radio and also with my iPhone to listen to music and to Tune-In Radio.

I bought 3 Wave Music Systems more than a decade ago. Love having compact radio, CD player and great sound around my three-story home. The CD players gave out after years of enjoying audiobooks and music. I recently purchased two new Wave systems for the two rooms where I most often use the CD player. They seem to be the same great quality. I look forward to many more years of listening to the great sound.

Quality not what expected

We expected Bose sound to be superb, but it is just slightly above average. There is a shssss sound when the unit finishes a CD so we can now know this is the end of the CD. This is not a pleasant sound, and it is just not an acceptable sound. I this similar sound is heard as the CD is ejected, which is marginally ok. I believe there should not be any sound at all. Also, the antenna range is very average, and the radio stations reception is average. We are just disappointed; we were expecting something better from the Bose - Music System IV.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear you are unable to get reception and do not like the sound you get when CD's are finished playing. It sounds like you are experiencing interference which can be stopped by making sure the speaker is plugged directly into an outlet. Great sound -generally easy to use

I bought this as a gift. The recipient loves it. It is generally easy to use for almost anyone. However, I wish there was an option to purchase a MUCH LARGER remote device, since there are NO MANUAL CONTROLS!!!!! The teeny tiny remote device is a challenge to use for an older person 50+ with any kind of corrective glasses. Can I purchase a larger remote device compatible with this equipment??????

Another Great Bose Product

I am 68 and have bought several Bose products over the years. TV sound system, portable box stereo, headphones, computer speakers and now a Wave IV system. I would highly recommend any and all of these products to music and sound enthusiasts. I was completely surprised when I streamed a movie using the auxiliary input. Wow. Soundtrack and action scenes sounded incredible.

Love the sound

My wife is thrilled with the new Wave radio. She loved the one we purchased in 2006. This is better. She likes the on/off button on top. The "zapper" has many features and great distance.
