No control buttons on the unit

No control buttons on the unit. If you misplaced the control pad you have no way to work the unit

Hello,
The Wave System IV and it's last few iterations use a single button which acts as a standby/alarm stop button. It also comes with a handy, easy to use remote control. If the remote were ever lost, a replacement can easily be purchased on our website.

Beautiful sound! Weak AM reception. Easy to use.

I bought this about a month ago. We're really happy with it. The AM reception is weak but that may be because of where we positioned it and where we are living. Instead of getting an AM antenna I bought a Bluetooth receiver (not from Bose) and can stream anything from my phone including AM radio stations.

My third Bose

My Bose CD player/radio adds so much to the quality of my day. My husband gave me one years ago. It's still going strong! This second Bose is in our bedroom, which is so nice if we are in different rooms. Sound quality is great! And it's so easy to use and set up. The third Bose is the one I gave to my mom. She loves hers also. I still love my old CDs. And I am so glad to have a quality sound system for listening to them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Should’ve bought these years ago and settled for cheap. Cheap quit and now the musical sounds one missed has come out in these units. Finally have music, great music in my home!

frustrated

I have had a Bose for over 20 years. The soundtouch has been frustrating to say the least. The internet radio instructions make no sense -- took me 20 minutes to realize that the word "speaker" meant "radio" and then the cable between my laptop at the "speaker" did not work. The alternative set-ups required a smart phone? which I do not own. My tablet and the apps stuff also was an endless loop of frustration. I now have to spend money to get someone else to set this up. And just to get to this screen I had to scroll through ads. How is this customer-friendly? Not everyone who enjoys music is an electronics geek.

Great sound quality!

I like the options of either playing music from my playlist on my phone or from my SiriusXm account and the sound is so clear! I also like that I can use a cable to connect my TV so as to hear better sound from movies too!
