Cam't read remote

My wife and I are in our eighties. We thought this would be a pleasant experience. We are not blessed with 20 20 vision, and our fingers are not nearly as agile as they once were. We can't read or operate the remote, or understand the controls. Our reception is poor for stations that we enjoy. Our new radio has become an expensive paperweight.

Love it!

I love this system! For a long time I did not have the equipment to listen to my extensive CD collection and this was a great alternative. Also the radio works great in my area with no need of an extra accessories. Very happy with it, wish I had bought before. Wish it had a bluetooth feature to use with my phone too.

Another great Wave Radio

As soon as I saw this available, I knew I had to get one. I've been a Bose owner for as long as I can remember, when they released the original Wave Radio. I finally replaced my original Wave Radio with this one, and have loved it from the moment I set it up. I use it every day, and love discovering new musical sources from around the world. This takes me back to the time I was a boy listening to UHF radio in Europe, discovering new radio stations. Now I get the same experience, but with the full, rich sound I always get from Bose. You can't miss with this!

Bose Wave Radio

I have had two Bose Wave radios. There is no question that the sound is fantastic. But when they removed the buttons from the lid, the radio lost a lot of functionality. I could be listening to it in bed and I knew where the buttons were to reach up and change the station or CD. Now, I need a light (the remote does not light up) to see what button to push. It is a pain! The remote is so small that it can get misplaced. I already had to buy another. The radio is useless without the remote. I really wish they would bring back the set-top controls. I would not buy another Wave until they do.
Notwithstanding my frustration with no buttons, the radio itself is fantastic. I have the option to listen to Pandora. FM choices have been lousy. In fact, I wish Pandora was built into the radio, and maybe iheart.

Easy set up, not great sound quality

I waited for this item to be back in stock. I had one of the original purchased years ago and thought it was time to replace it with the newest. Unfortunately the sound is very muddy and the only sound setting to adjust is the bass from high normal or reduced. Even on the reduced setting the sound had a reverberation and was not clear, almost distorted compared to other Bose product as well as my JBL set up in Living room. I do not recommend this product
