Don't know what took me so long!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This system had been on my wish list FOREVER! Finally a tax refund prompted me to get off my patootie and purchase it. What took me so long??? Great system - clarity of sound, awesome with bluetooth and Audible books, music one could only dream about. Don't wait as long as I did - this is an investment you will enjoy every day!

Great sound and features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from an older model Wave radio as I wanted the wifi option. I'm very happy with the new features and sound and have connected it to other Bose speakers in other rooms. Love it. I'm happy with my purchase.

Great clock radio

The Bose Wave is great, I especially like the remote control. I listen to classical music and have noticed that from a distance the bass is fine, but from bed it is too much. I have used the lower level of bass but would like a still lower one. This hasn't upset my complete enjoyment of the machine.

Exceeded Expectations

Replaced a surroundsound system (shown in the attached photo) that had been relegated to "music only" duty when we purchased a Bose Lifestyle AV35 a few years ago. The sound quality of the Wave Soundtouch IV is fantastic and, in classic Bose fashion, amazes all who hear it and see how small and "simple" it seems. The move to a mobile app for control is pure genius. We can now control with any of our iPhones and iPads from anywhere in the house. This helps offset the downside of the IR remote which is only line-of-sight functional. The unit was extremely simple to connect to the house network and associated music subscriptions and libraries. The app, contrary to some other reviews, is very easy to use, has all of the functionality that's necessary for this unit combined with the remote. I know there are plenty of audiophiles that turn their noses up at Bose for being primarily a marketing machine but being the owner of four different Bose products, I have never been disappointed. This unit is well worth the money. Great job Bose!

growing up my mom had one. she still has the same one. it must be 30 years old, i'm 40 now and 10 years ago i acquired mine and screwed it under the cabinets. its so perfect for a.m. npr listening and its even better when we have our evening jam sessions instead of watching tv. its so perfect for cooking and listening to your iPod. i absolutely LOVE IT! this new one is obviously updated but it will be the very best purchase you make the price point to me is worth every penny. and the customer service at bose is remarkable! i want another speaker. i have a portable speaker in my bathroom and i am going to get the portable just wanted to see if bose might get one more on the shelf...

Extraordinary Sound System

I waited five years before buying this item and really it's worth the price. when you close tour eyes you have the feeling that a large speaker is playing. The sound is so live and powerful. I'm just happy.

Such versatility with all of todays music options available: WiFi, Bluetooth, AM/FM, CD. If it is recorded, you can enjoy it. And the best part of this system, the quality of music reproduction. It is absolutely the very, very best considering its size and convenience. I have been an audiophile most of my life, and nothing has impressed me more than this system, nothing! Thank you Bose!
