Poor Bass

We have been using speakers of other brands in the past. After hearing amazing reviews of Bose systems and seeing the performance at our friend's place we decided to purchase Wave Sound Touch IV. But now after using it for 2 days, I must say I am highly disappointed with the performance of my system. Nice bass - something that I saw in Bose systems was not just there (Must say that sound was nice - just the bass was bad) I changed the placement of system multiple times - but no improvement in bass. I played the same songs that showed high bass with other systems/ Bose system at my friend's place - but when they were played in our system, I couldn't feel the amazing bass associated with Bose systems. I am going to return my system first thing tomorrow morning.

Big sound small box!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got mine, took a little while to set it up. Wow, I can't believe all that sound comes from this little box!! The app is very helpful and quite easy to use. LOVE IT!
I have had the Wave SoundTouch IV for 2 weeks now. With Bluetooth and built in Wi Fi, it is the very definition of "Entertainment Sytem". The sound is pure Bose. With so many source options, it can do it all.

sound touch is the worst

Bought this radio and sound touch a year ago in january of 2018. Radio is ok. soundtouch will never stay connected to Wifi or Wifi can't be found. spend more time screwing around with the soundtouch then exercising in the basement. Will never buy a sound touch again.

No better than a fancy I home

I wanted to upgrade my original Bose Wave (which still has amazing sound) to the IV and purchased 2 speakers. Bose marketing on this is very misleading. You are lead to believe that it’s easy to stream and integrate all your music /products with the app which simply is not true. You cannot simply stream anything playing on your cd or radio...only computer, iPod, iPad, MP3 returned unit but stuck with two speakers

I'm very sorry to hear that you may have felt mislead with marketing materials regarding this device.
SoundTouch works by making your Wave Radio internet compatible so that you can play your streaming services through the speaker. It is just the SoundTouch pedestal that is able to pair with other SoundTouch speakers. I understand that this is frustrating but the SoundTouch can only pass through audio to the Wave Radio and not retrieve audio from the internal audio sources such as CD and AM/FM.
