Fantastic Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a about 8 weeks ago and have enjoyed it ever since. We've owned the more "classic" Wave sound systems but upgrading to the SoundTouch was one of the best decisions we've made.

I wish it had a sound equalization feature.

I liked the easy setup and blue tooth compatibility. The system is powerful and clean when playing CD's at moderate volume but I wish Bose would provide an app to allow user to enhance certain frequencies, particularly the high end. At lower volumes and with streamed music these frequencies are just not distinct, even with the bass reduced..

THIS IS THE SECOND SUCH WAVE SOUNDTOUCH I'VE BOUGHT AND TRASHED FOR THE SAME REASON. I HOPED TO USE ITS RADIO AS WELL AS TO PLAY CDS. EACH WAVE PERFORMED WELL ENOUGH FOR 5 OR 6 MONTHS, THEN BEGAN TO EAT THE CDS. LITERALLY. IT CREATED VISIBLE/AUDIBLE INCISIONS IN THE CDS OR ABORTED THE FINAL MOVEMENTS. OR BOTH. I KNOW (TOO WELL) THAT CDS ARE PASSE. AND THAT THIS BOSE ITERATION IS PROB ITS LAST. BUT TO PRODUCE AND SELL SUCH FAILED PRODUCTS IS DISGRACEFUL. I BUY BOSE FOR ITS MUSIC SYSTEM. I STILL GET THE RADIO. LOST THE MUSIC MONTHS AGO. AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. INDEED, BITTER.

Hey Birdy,
I'm sorry that you're experiencing some problems with the CD player on your Wave system. It's really strange that your CDs are becoming damaged after being inserted into the system. Your system does come with a 1-year warranty period so if you've only had it for 5 or 6 months we'll be able to repair the system at no cost. Great Product when it works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my SoundTouch IV in July 2018 as a birthday present and shortly after that had to send it in for servicing. WiFi connection wasn't working. I would highly advise the Buyer to be somewhat Tech Savvy as you will have to re-pair the WiFi connection periodically. Fast forward to today and the system is back at the Repair Facility (now on my nickel) to again repair the WiFi connection feature. If you don't mind an expensive AM FM Radio / CD Player this is the system for you. I wrote the first repair off to Infant Mortality Failure but having the same failure again in 2 years leads me to think that there is a flaw in the design of the WiFi connection feature. i have several Bose Products and this is the only one that I've ever had problems with so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and a second chance to fix my SoundTouch System.
