5th Burner did not work.

A few days after delivery we discovered that the 5th burner (middle back row) did not work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's good but I don't like the stove top. It's hard to keep clean! I have to clean it several times a day- not from spills or anything- just from normal use. There seems to be a permanent mark on it that won't come off and I don't know how it got there. It just seems a bit delicate. I also wish the top where the controls are was wider and flat so I could put stuff up there (i.e. Salt and pepper shakers etc). Otherwise I'm happy with it.

Bought this range to replace Samsung range that had burner problems. Its great to have burners that work correctly, can't wait to bake in it

This is my second GE range. The old one was great, but this is the best range I have ever owned. Works well. Great features. And, based on my old range, should be highly reliable.

Bought oven without seeing a floor model. It was delivered with a broken bottom drawer and the hot surface light shorted out against the chasis. It has taken 4 repair visits to get everything working. Disappointed there is no proofing setting for making bread. Stove top Controls are cumbersome. You need to push ON button, then, push the low or high, and then you need to use the opposite control to adjust the temperature . Stove elements heat up fast, and oven temperature seems very consistent. .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The steam clean feature is a nice addition. The oven ligh turns on when you open the door.
