Even Cooking, Has Popcorn and Potato Settings

The Popcorn and Potato buttons are requirements of a microwave in our house. This one looks good, has a ton of room inside, and it's sensor cooking seems to perform well.

A few issues

I purchased this to replace a GE Profile Microwave that failed after around 5 years of average use. The first issue I encountered was during installation. The literature states that the oven is 16" inches high (as the old one was), however it is actually 16.5" high which required the removal of a half inch of backsplash to properly mount the bracket.
Other issues: The door glass is so dark that it is impossible to view the contents of the oven, even though there is an internal light. The old microwave had a setting for the counter lights which would turn on and off at a programmed time. This oven does not have that very convenient feature. The oven seems to take longer to cook than my old one, which had the same power rating and there is a noticeable delay of about 3 seconds for the oven to start after hitting the "start" button. The bottom right corner of the oven, near a filter was bent as received, and there was no apparent shipping or packaging issues and I find the door handle to be awkward to use when opening the door. The keypad located at the bottom of the unit is susceptible to being covered by steam while using the range below.and I am concerned about its reliability due to this issue. While talking with a service technician, he mentioned this is a high failure item.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are pleased with the microwave but aren't happy that we had to replace our previous GE microwave so quickly. Expensive and it didn't fit the space the same way so our wall was damaged a bit during installation.

Good design but lacks features.

I bought this product to match the range and am not overly enthusiastic about it. I love the design including the absence of a handle. However, the dark interior and available light do not let you see into the microwave as something is cooking. I'd also like to be able to put in the exact time I want, i.e. 3 minutes and 15 seconds, but have not determined how to do that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
