unique design, great features, works great

I purchased this about two months ago to match my new GE Profile Range and Refrigerator. I like the unique design and its many features. Its intuitive to operate and works very well.

Solid microwave

My wife and I purchased this microwave for our kitchen remodel that included Cafe series french door fridge and Cafe series range. We liked the look of this Profile microwave, because of the flat front and no handle. We have heard back things about microwave handles being plastic and the paint/covering peeling off. So far, we really like the way that this microwave blends in with the rest of our appliances, and it heats food really well. It has a lot more power than our previous microwave. It's doing pretty much everything we could ask for of a microwave.

I just bought this 4 days ago and installed it 2 days ago. Installation was fairly easy and I love all the features. It is very spacious & it looks pretty cool too.It replaced a GE Profile Spacemaker that I installed in 1995 so it lasted 22 years. Which is why I bought another GE. I am hoping they still build long lasting, reliable appliance. Time will tell.

Purchased this microwave as part of a total kitchen remodel. This particular model was selected because it's for over the oven and the slate color, to match all the appliances. Most microwave food and recipes give instructions and/or advice for 1100 and 1200 watt ovens. But this one is rated at 1050 watts. It always takes a little faith along with experimentation. For sensor re-heating and defrosting it does work fairly well.
