So far so good

It is about 1 month old and it is performing well. It is a bigger design than our old one so we have to manage the swing of the door, which we didn't have to do with the older one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This not like a standard microwave. I love the features and having controls in front at the bottom and not on the side is convenient and gives it a clean look.

This microwave has a very sleek appearance and strong 400 cu ft per minute fan. The chef connect works so that the vent and light turn on when the compatible stove is turned on (but not when the oven is turned on).
But some basic design elements are frustrating. Because of the sleek face, the door of the microwave is the entire width of the appliance, making it a very large door with a wide swing. We've gotten used to it but I could see how this could really bother some people. As for functions... 1) The sensor reheat feature either over or undercooks food. We find it useless. 2) If you just need a few seconds of cook time it takes many button pushes and a pause delay as the screen tells you how long it will heat before it actually starts and 3) The worst one for us is that you can't just shut off the vent fan. You have to cycle through all the settings from low to loud before it shuts off.
With all that said, it is fine. What we needed out of the appliance was a strong vent fan and a microwave to reheat leftovers. And we got that.

The microwave itself is great, the inside is really cool looking. But the unit we replaced (different brand) was vented outside, so we had this one installed the same way. There is a damper door that flaps and squeaks LOUDLY with any breeze, it's awful. Our previous microwave did not have this problem.
